    Is it worth it to have a home warranty?

    Unlike homeowners insurance, a home warranty plan covers the cost of repairing or replacing major appliances or systems in your home. Whether you’re dealing with problems caused by normal wear and tear or a surprise breakdown, a home warranty could cover thousands of dollars of expenses.

    What if my appliances and systems are old?

    It doesn't matter how old your covered items are. If they are working when your home warranty plan goes into effect, you're covered. For complete details, see the General Exclusions and Limitations section of the sample annual contract.

    What is NOT covered?

    Other non-mechanical items in your home, like the roof, windows, walls and doors, are typically not included in protection plan coverage. Also, if a covered item was improperly installed or repaired, your plan will likely not cover it.     When does coverage begin?

    There is a waiting period from the time you purchase your plan to when you can request service. You'll be advised exactly when your coverage begins before you complete your purchase. In addition, your confirmation email and plan documents will include this information.

    Can I manage my account online?

    Yes! You can easily manage your account online through the Cinch MyAccount portal. Once you register, you can see all your plan documents, request service, update your profile and more anytime. 

    What is a deductible?

    Similar to an insurance deductible, this is the amount that you pay out of pocket. The deductible is collected at the time of service request.

    You can request service anytime — 24/7!  MyAccount registration is free and allows you to easily request service or manage your Cinch plan online. You can also request service by calling (844) 324-5688.
